Special Health Care Needs
What we provide
According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, children with Special Health Care Needs are more likely to face barriers to care and have unmet dental needs, see more.
To help us better understand your child and to prepare for dental visits at Bend Children’s Dentistry, we offer:
- Pre-visit Questionnaire: to get to know your child and how to best serve them
- Social Story: request an electronic copy of a Social Story of what to expect in our office
- Office Tour: schedule a tour of the office with a staff guide
- Desensitization Visits: short visits with Dr. Field and/or staff to acclimate your child to our office and to the dental office environment
- Private treatment room
